Shipment Management
Ship picked orders to customers. Shipping in Alpha is part of the picklist workflow: every picklist carries its own shipment details, and there is no separate shipments module.
Creating Shipments
From a Picklist
After picking and checking are complete, the picklist enters the Packing stage:
- Open the picklist under Orders > Picklists
- Click Generate label — this creates the shipment record with the warehouse and destination addresses pre-filled
- Fill in the shipping label details and print the label
- Mark the picklist Ready for Dispatch
- Dispatch with tracking information
Shipments cannot be created directly from a sales order. Confirming an order reserves stock and generates a picklist; the picklist is then picked, packed, and dispatched.

Carrier Tracking
Tracking is entered manually:
- Select the courier while packing
- Enter the tracking number and tracking URL at dispatch
- The tracking URL is shown as a link on the picklist
Shipment Documents
Documents are generated as PDFs from the picklist:

- Items and quantities in the shipment
- No pricing shown
QR Label
- Picklist reference with QR code for scanning
Delivery Confirmation
When the shipment arrives:
- Open the dispatched picklist
- Mark it as Delivered (optionally with the delivery date)
- When all products of the order are delivered, the order is completed
Returns
For returned shipments:
- Open the related sales order
- Start a return for the dispatched picklist, selecting the returned items
- Picklist status moves through Return Started, Partially Returned, and Returned as items come back
