Drawing Blocks and Queueing Configurations

Draw blocks in the 3D viewer and queue block configurations or option sales from the BNR overview

Drawing Blocks and Queueing Configurations

Blocks (rows of houses or galerij apartment buildings) are drawn in the project's 3D Viewer. Once placed, you queue a block configuration or option-sales run from the BNR overview table.

You can also queue a configuration without drawing first — drawing just makes the block exist so the queue has something to act on.

Where to find it

  1. Open the project in Construction → Projects → [project].
  2. In the top control, switch the editor to Design.
  3. In the Design view there is a sub-toggle:
    • Viewer — the 3D scene where blocks are drawn.
    • Table — the BNR overview, where queue buttons live on each block row.

Drawing a block (row of houses)

In Design → Viewer:

  1. In the right toolbar click Draw Blocks.
  2. Pick a type in the popover. You can filter by concept first to narrow the list.
  3. If the type exposes a beukmaat option, pick the code. House width is derived from beukmaat — preview houses use that width.
  4. The cursor switches to drawing mode. The bottom overlay reads Click to set block position.
  5. First click sets the block's start point (a green START marker appears).
  6. Move the mouse — a dashed green line shows direction, ghost houses preview how many fit, and a badge reports the count.
  7. Second click sets the direction. The block is created with auto-generated name Block N and houses laid out along the line at the type's beukmaat width.

Snapping helps placement:

ColorSnaps to
RedDXF or block endpoint
GreenDXF or block midpoint
BluePerpendicular to a DXF/block line
OrangeExisting block edge

Press ESC at any time to cancel drawing.

Drawing a galerij (apartment block)

Same toolbar, Draw Galerij button. The flow is identical, except:

  • No type or beukmaat is required — houses are added later in the sidebar.
  • The preview is a single building box with floor lines (default 4 floors × 3 m).
  • On the second click, an empty galerij block is created.

Drawing a block plot (land plot around a block)

The cyan Draw Block Plot button lets you draw a polygon outline that defines a block's land plot.

  1. Click Draw Block Plot.
  2. Click to place vertices, one at a time. A dashed closing line previews the polygon.
  3. Backspace removes the last vertex. ESC cancels.
  4. With ≥3 vertices placed, press Enter to close the polygon.
  5. The plot is auto-linked to whichever block's geometric center falls inside the polygon. The name is auto-generated as Plot N.

Queueing a configuration from the BNR overview

Switch the sub-toggle to Table (BNR overview). Each block has its own panel with the block name, house count, and a row of action buttons.

Queue config

Opens the Queue block configuration modal pre-locked to that project and block.

FieldNotes
ModeBase — uses each house's default configuration. Assigned — uses the customer-confirmed configuration; all houses in the block must have one.
PriorityHigher values run first. Default 0.
NoteOptional free-text label for the queued run.

Submitting creates a block-configuration job for the queue.

You can also open this modal without going via a block — it's the same modal, just without the project/block pre-filled. Drawing blocks first means the project & block are already selected and locked.

Queue option sales

The grey Queue option sales button next to Queue config fires immediately (no modal). It enqueues option-sales variants for every house in the block based on the types' presets.

If you want to queue per-house instead of per-block, open the house in the right-hand BNR sidebar and use Queue from type presets / Queue missing presets in the option-sales section.

Typical flow

  1. Design → Viewer: draw the block(s) with Draw Blocks (pick type + beukmaat) or Draw Galerij.
  2. (Optional) Draw a Block Plot around each block to set its land footprint.
  3. Design → Table: on the new block's panel, click Queue config → choose Base or Assigned, set priority, submit.
  4. Click Queue option sales on the same row to enqueue option-sales variants for every house.
