Email Templates

Create and manage reusable email templates with categories and merge fields

Email Templates

Email templates let you create reusable email layouts with dynamic content powered by merge fields. Templates are organized by category and support versioning.

Template Overview

Template List

View all templates with key information:

Trigger TypeWhen the template is used (manual, automated, or both)

Creating Templates

  1. Navigate to Communications > Templates
  2. Click Create Template
  3. Enter a template name and select a category
  4. Design the template in the Template Editor
  5. Save the template

Categories

Templates are organized into categories for easy browsing:

  • Create categories that match your communication types (e.g., Sales, Support, Onboarding)
  • Assign each template to a category
  • Filter the template list by category

Trigger Types

Each template can be configured with a trigger type:

Duplicating Templates

Create a copy of an existing template:

  1. Open the template you want to duplicate
  2. Click Duplicate
  3. A new template is created with the same content
  4. Modify the copy as needed and save
