Compose and send ad-hoc or template-based emails to recipients

Composing Emails

Send emails directly from the platform using the compose interface. Emails can be written from scratch or built from reusable templates.

Compose Methods

Ad-Hoc Email

Write a one-off email without a template:

  1. Navigate to Communications and click Compose
  2. Add recipients (To, CC, BCC)
  3. Enter the subject line
  4. Write the email body using the rich text editor
  5. Optionally attach files
  6. Click Send or Schedule

Template-Based Email

Use a pre-built template with merge fields:

  1. Click Compose and select Use Template
  2. Browse or search templates by category
  3. Select a template -- merge fields are pre-populated
  4. Review and customize the content if needed
  5. Add recipients
  6. Click Send or Schedule

Recipients

Adding Recipients

Recipients can be added in several ways:

Recipient Fields

CCCarbon copy -- visible to all recipients
BCCBlind carbon copy -- hidden from other recipients

Attachments

Attach files to outgoing emails:

  1. Click the Attach button in the compose toolbar
  2. Select files from your device or from blob storage
  3. Attached files appear below the compose area
  4. Remove attachments by clicking the remove icon

Send Options

After composing, choose how to deliver:

  • Send Now -- delivers the email immediately
  • Schedule -- pick a future date and time for delivery (see Scheduled Emails)
