Compose and send ad-hoc or template-based emails to recipients
Composing Emails
Send emails directly from the platform using the compose interface. Emails can be written from scratch or built from reusable templates.
Compose Methods
Ad-Hoc Email
Write a one-off email without a template:
- Navigate to Communications and click Compose
- Add recipients (To, CC, BCC)
- Enter the subject line
- Write the email body using the rich text editor
- Optionally attach files
- Click Send or Schedule
Template-Based Email
Use a pre-built template with merge fields:
- Click Compose and select Use Template
- Browse or search templates by category
- Select a template -- merge fields are pre-populated
- Review and customize the content if needed
- Add recipients
- Click Send or Schedule
Recipients
Adding Recipients
Recipients can be added in several ways:

| Manual Entry | Type email addresses directly |
| Contact Search | Search existing contacts and customers |
| Recipient List | Select a pre-built recipient list |
Recipient Fields
| Field | Purpose |
|---|---|
| To | Primary recipients |
| CC | Carbon copy -- visible to all recipients |
| BCC | Blind carbon copy -- hidden from other recipients |
Attachments
Attach files to outgoing emails:
- Click the Attach button in the compose toolbar
- Select files from your device or from blob storage
- Attached files appear below the compose area
- Remove attachments by clicking the remove icon
Send Options
After composing, choose how to deliver:
- Send Now -- delivers the email immediately
- Schedule -- pick a future date and time for delivery (see Scheduled Emails)
