Create and manage recipient lists for targeted email communication

Recipient Lists

Recipient lists let you define reusable groups of recipients for sending emails to multiple people at once.

List Types

Static Lists

Manually curated lists of specific recipients:

  • Add individual contacts by searching and selecting
  • Import recipients from a CSV file
  • Remove recipients individually
  • List membership does not change unless manually updated

Dynamic Lists

Lists that automatically update based on filter criteria:

  • Define filter rules (e.g., all contacts in a specific region, customers with a certain tag)
  • Recipients are resolved at send time based on current data
  • No manual maintenance needed -- the list stays up to date

Creating a Recipient List

  1. Navigate to Communications > Recipient Lists
  2. Click Create List
  3. Enter a list name and description
  4. Choose Static or Dynamic
  5. For static: add recipients manually
  6. For dynamic: configure filter criteria
  7. Save the list

Editing a List

  • Static lists: Add or remove individual recipients

Using Lists in Compose

When composing an email, select a recipient list from the recipient picker to automatically populate the To field with all list members.
