Time Entry Approvals
Review, approve, or reject submitted time entries as a manager.
Managers review submitted time entries from the approvals queue at /hr/time/approvals.
Approval Queue
Navigate to HR > Time Tracking > Approvals to see all entries in SUBMITTED status. The page summary shows:
- Pending entries -- count of entries waiting for review.
- Total hours -- sum of hours across all pending entries.
Each row in the table shows the employee, date, hours, project/task link, description, and a billable indicator.
Approving Entries
There are two ways to approve:

| Per-row | Click the green check icon on a single row. |
| Bulk | Select rows via the checkbox column, then click Approve Selected (N) in the page header. |
Approved entries move to APPROVED status and become visible in Time Reports. Approved entries are no longer editable by the employee.
Rejecting Entries
Rejection is per-row only -- there is no bulk reject.
- Click the red reject icon on the row.
- A modal asks for a rejection reason (required).
- Submit the modal.
The entry returns to DRAFT status. The employee sees the rejection reason on the entry's read-only view modal until they revise and resubmit.
Refreshing the Queue
Click Refresh in the header to reload the queue without leaving the page. This is useful when reviewing a long list of submissions in real time.
