A shift represents a work period:

Shift Configuration

Defining Shifts

  1. Go to Administration > Shifts
  2. Create shift definitions:

Working with Shifts

Starting a Shift

  1. Worker logs in
  2. Selects current shift
  3. System records start time
  4. Activities tracked to shift

During the Shift

Activities recorded include:

  • Goods received
  • Items picked
  • Shipments processed
  • Transfers completed
  • Counts performed

Ending a Shift

  1. Review shift summary
  2. Complete handover notes
  3. Log out of shift
  4. System records end time

Shift Handover

Handover Information

Communicate between shifts:

  • Pending tasks
  • Issues encountered
  • Special instructions
  • Incoming deliveries

Creating Handover Notes

  1. Go to shift summary
  2. Click Add Handover Note
  3. Enter information
  4. Next shift sees notes

By shift metrics:

Compare shift performance:

Morning Shift: 150 orders, 98% accuracy

Shift-Based Operations

Receiving by Shift
