Calendar View
Day, week, month, and list views for managing personal and company events
Calendar View
The calendar view displays all your events in a familiar layout with day, week, month, and list options. Events from connected external calendars appear alongside Alpha-native events.
View Modes
Switch between views using the toggle in the calendar toolbar.
| View | Best For |
|---|---|
| Month | High-level overview of the entire month |
| Week | Planning across the workweek with time slots |
| Day | Detailed hourly schedule for a single day |
| List | Agenda-style list of the week's events |
Creating Events
In the day and week views, click or drag-select an empty time slot to create an event for that time range. In the month view, clicking a day opens a side panel with that day's schedule — use the New Event button in the toolbar or right-click a day cell to create an event there instead. Fill in the event details:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Title | Name of the event |
| Date & Time | Start and end time |
| Description | Optional notes or agenda |
| Location | Where the event takes place |
| Attendees | Team members to invite |
| Category | Meeting, call, demo, follow-up, internal, or other |
| Visibility | Private, team, or public |
Events created in Alpha sync to your connected external calendars automatically.
Rescheduling
To reschedule an event, click it to open the detail popover, choose Edit, and adjust the start and end times.
Event Details
Click on any event to view its details. From the detail view you can:
- Edit the event title, time, description, or location
- Add or remove attendees
- Cancel the event
Events synced from external calendars (Google Calendar or Outlook) are labelled with their source. Use the source chips in the toolbar to show or hide events per source.
Finding an Appointment
Use the search box in the calendar toolbar to look up an appointment without scrolling through the calendar. Search runs across all dates — past and future — and matches on:
- The event title, description, and location
- Attendee names and e-mail addresses
- The linked client's contact details (NAW) — name, e-mail, phone, address, postcode, and city
Pick a result to jump the calendar straight to that appointment's date and open it. The search respects visibility: you only see your own appointments plus those shared with your team — other people's private events never appear in the results.
Navigation
Use the arrow buttons to move forward and backward through dates. The Today button jumps back to the current date.
